The Main Circulation areas and Dermatology Departments at the Bath Royal United Hospital have been treated to new floor coverings installed by N&S Flooring Bristol Limited, in conjunction with Bray and Slaughter Building contractors N&S have installed Polyflor Perlazzo Commercial Vinyl, Polyflor Forest FX , Tarkett Optima and Tarkett Granit Contract Vinyls, all with great effect.
The durable floor coverings have been installed to meet the demands of the client including the sequencing of works to the Main Circulation areas to ensure that Staff, Patient and Visitor access was not adversely effected,
The floors were prepared using our specialist surface preparation equipment to remove old latex and adhesive residues followed by an application of the high performance Ardex NA smoothing latex and ammonia free smoothing compound, resulting in a silky smooth finish.
Floor Coverings were installed using FBall F46 pressure sensitive adhesive, flooring joints were heat welded and integral coved vinyl skirting's have been formed with cove former and capping seals to ensure the areas are clean and hygienic. All of the commercial vinyl products installed are PU coated offering reduced maintenance costs and long term performance.
